On Thursday, February 13, Helen Maguire, Liberal Democrat MP for Epsom & Ewell was invited to mark the official opening of Nationwide’s newly refurbished branch in Leatherhead.

Located on North Street, the building society has revamped its previous amenities with a brand new state-of-the-art cash machine (ATM), whilst retaining its in-person services.

The reopening comes as welcome news to the town following the recent closures of NatWest (June 2022) and HSBC (July 2023) on the high street.

Welcoming the upgrades facilities, Helen Maguire, Liberal Democrat MP for Epsom & Ewell said:

It was an honour to open Nationwide’s newly-refurbished branch in Leatherhead.

High street banks play a crucial role in our communities and after losing NatWest and HSBC in the last few years, Nationwide’s new and improved facility is a massive boost for the town and my constituents.

I will continue to champion the importance of maintaining our high street banks in Epsom, Ewell, Ashtead and Leatherhead.
