A record of service
Before becoming MP for Epsom and Ewell, Helen was a nationally recognised award-winning fundraiser having secured over £1 million for UK charities since leaving the British Army.
Previously she was a Captain in the Royal Military Police defending our values and freedoms through her work overseas.
Helen served in Bosnia on a NATO multinational peacekeeping mission and Iraq, helping to rebuild the Iraqi Police Service while providing on the ground counter-insurgency policing support to front line infantry.
Helen served locally as a Parish Councillor and was Chairman of a local recreational ground charity for nine years, leading the build of a new Community Pavilion.
Helen also serves the local community through voluntary work with Mid Surrey Community Fridges and the Leatherhead Community Hub.
Helen lives locally with her husband, 3 teenage children and their dog and can be found running in the various constituency countryside beauty spots in her spare time.
